RACE INFORMATION
Date: Sunday, May 19, 2002
Start & Finish: Leisure Centre 11313 105 St.
Time: Check-in, Bodymarking: 6:30am
Pre-Race Meeting: 7:45am
Swim Start (1st Heat): 8:00am
SWIM COURSE 500m
Swim at Leisure Centre. Pool is 25 metres by 7 lanes. There will be heats as needed.
BIKE COURSE 17.5KM
4 Laps of a clockwise 4km loop: West on 108 Ave, right onto Hwy 43 (116 Ave), right onto 100 St, right onto 108 Ave. Start and finish at Leisure Centre. Course map included with race pack.
RUN COURSE 3.5KM
1 loop of an essentially flat course (2 short hills) around the reservoir on Muskoseepi Park trails. Start and finish at the Leisure Centre. Course map included with race pack.
BIKE INSPECTION
It is up to the participant to ensure that his/her bicycle is in proper working condition.
ANSI/SNELL/CSA approved helmets are mandatory in all A.T.A. sanctioned races.
AID STATIONS
St. John's Ambulance will be supervising the course. Aid stations located in transition zone and on run course.
RACE PACKAGE PICKUP
Must be done at Action Sportswear (in the Prairie Mall) between 1:00pm and 5:00pm on May 18th.
